I am a 40 something year old wife to one, mother of two. One girl and one boy. By the way, did I mention that the kids have both left for college....need I say more!?!? I work full time, outside of the home and try my hardest everyday to adjust from having a full house to an empty nest!!
I have been in contact with a lady on Craigslist willing to sell all of this to me for $500.00. Do you all think this is a good deal?!?!?!?!?!?!? PLEASE let me know what ya'll think ASAP!!!! I would hate to lose out if it is......
Looks like alot of things but I would try to offer less first to see if she would take it, then go from there, really it comes down to if its worth it to you!! Let us know how it goes!~Wendy
Thanks girls!! It does seem like alot of stuff but I am just nervous. That is alot of $$$$ and I am not sure what the stuff looks like in person yet.
Wendy, I did ask her if she was firm on the price and she said she was. That she thought the she was already selling it for a low price.
Sh e also mention other interest, which I know may just be a selling tactic but I was just wanting to get some advice from more "seasoned" Prim collectors to see if it was a good deal or not.
Thanks for all of your input...I will let ya'll know what I decided!!
Carrie - WOW, those are some wonderful goodies. I would see if she could tell you what the measurements are of that black cupboard. You could always try offering less and see if she goes for it. Good Luck!!
If she won't come down...do you all think I should go for it? Or that I could find newer better stuff for that kind of $$$ I know the cabinet alone is worth a decent amount BUT hubby does woodworking so I am sure I could get him to build me one.

Hi Carrie!
I'm sorry to say that I don't know much about primitive items, but for everything you'd be getting, sure looks like a good deal to me!
Love your poem about mean moms!

Myself I think she is asking to much...I'd go 250 or 300 but then again that's just me:)
Rondell
I think that is way too much. I think that $300 is the max. I would offer her that and walk away if she says no. Just my thought.
I think that is to much. I'd say no more than $350 for all that.:-)
Carrie,
I think that this sounds a little high also. I agree with cozycoop maybe 350.
