It still amazes me how time flies!! Friday was my daughter's 17th birthday (my son's was just a few months ago...he turned 15) and it makes me teary-eyed just thinking how the time seems to slip away from you. Just yesterday they were 4 and 2 and my husband and I were their "everything". They still called us Mommy and Daddy. We were still "cool" and they actually WANTED to be around us. Now, they are 17 and 15 and sometimes can fit us into their busy schedules. LOL!! No, seriously I can't complain....I have two WONDERFUL children and I cherish them EVERYDAY!!!! Love you guys!!

Funny how I should read this right now. My 17 yo son just came in from the first day on a new job. I was so excited for him and waiting all night for him to get home so he could tell me all about it. Instead, he walked in, asked me to wash a certain shirt and went upstairs to talk on the phone. I just had myself a good cry. I'll wash the shirt I guess and maybe one day I will get to have a conversation with him.
