Calling All Moms....

Calling all Moms, Calling all Moms...I need your help please!!

As Spring is fast approaching, and the weather is getting so nice that we all rather spend our weekends outside doing all the fun things that we all enjoy. Whether that be bike riding, camping, etc. I find myself STRESSING out over the ever so dreaded thing we all call chores.

You see, in the Winter...I don't mind so much being cooped up inside my warm and cozy house doing laundry or making a nice big pot of yummy chili. But as the weather gets warmer, I absolutely HATE spending my weekends cooking, cleaning and doing laundry.

So my question to all of you is what is your "routine"? Do you have a certain "chore list", if you will, that you all follow thru the week so that your weekends are free to what you like? What are your "tips" for being "Superwomen" and staying on top of it all!?!?

I printed up just a little spreadsheet with the days of the week and the things I want to accomplish on that day. Of course, I always leave my Sat's and Sun's free. I don't work outside the home on a regular basis, so I really don't have a good excuse for not getting things done, but sometimes when I sub, I have to roll things over. The main thing is just not to stress when you DON'T get something done. It'll still be there tomorrow, I have found. Hope this helps...just my little system.

Thanks for your visit and your kind words.
I am usually very goal oriented and know what I will be aiming to get done every week. If I don't accomplish all that week then I will carry it over to the next. I'm sure you are doing the best you can. You have a lot on your plate.

Just stopping by to say "hi" :) I did come check out your blog. I'll be back to see your TS finds :)

I don't know if I would be much help with the chore thing. I am a SAHM, so I'm home a little more than you would be. However, I will say that a lot of the things that people put off until the weekend, I try to do throughout the week. I do not leave the laundry for "laundry day" or have specific days set aside for certain chores. I do laundry EVERY day. If I do a load or two every day, I'm always caught up and I don't spend like all day Saturday washing 6 loads of laundry! The other chores I do as I see they need done. Sometimes you'll see me dusting at midnight...just because I was watching TV and noticed that things needed dusted so I got up and did it.

Have a great rest of your weekend!
